Tilly joins Google for Startups

We're pleased to share that Tilly has been accepted into the Google for Startups programme.

What is Google for Startups?

Google for Startups supports early-stage technology companies with cloud infrastructure, AI resources and mentorship. The programme gives startups access to the same tools and platforms that power Google's own products, including Google Cloud and the Gemini AI models that Tilly already uses to power its AI agent.

What this means for Tilly

For us, this is about acceleration. Tilly is built on Google's AI infrastructure. Gemini powers our conversational agent, our competitor analysis and our sales insights. Being part of the programme gives us deeper integration with those tools:

• Cloud credits to scale our infrastructure as more retailers join the platform
• Access to Google's AI resources to improve the quality and speed of our agent's analysis

None of this changes what Tilly does. It means we can do it faster and better.

Why it matters for independent retailers

The retailers we serve (high street shops, cafés, salons, professional services) don't have analytics teams or data scientists. They have intuition, local knowledge and hard work. Tilly exists to give them the data layer that the big chains take for granted.
